Caline with C: artistic practice

Caline with C came to existence as a personal experiment to challenge self-expression. Whenever things start to feel more comfortable - she has to search for other ways how to extend her musical potential. That lead her from Dj’ing to producing, composing, and writing algorithms for sound synthesis. Through an intricate exchange between analog synthesizers, programming languages and software, productions come to existence with rhythmical structures that satisfy the body and sounds that let the mind wonder. Caline with C graduated from master’s programme in Sonology at the Royal Conservatory in the Hague and later on started working as an audio engineer for live events as well as an independent mastering engineer. In her practice, creative and technical compliment one another and offer infinite possibilities through music and sound.
Artist started to DJ and make music around 2016. She played in different radio stations worldwide, such as NTS radio (UK), Rinse FM France, ROOT radio (TR), TEST FM (RU), Onderwereld IFM (NL), Future Intel (NL), Operator (NL), Station Station (FR), Radio Vilnius (LT). As well as festivals such as Dekmantel (NL), Digital Tsunami (LT), Gaudeamus (NL) and clubs De School (NL), Garage Noord (NL), Lizdas Club(LT). Her music was released with clipp.art (AU), Onderwereld (NL), Too Soon tapes (FR), traumgarten (NL), Nightwind Records (NL). Her record was just self-released on Electrifying Impact (NL).
